“SASU / 刺” — JunAle Pop-Up at NEPENTHES NEW YORK

2026年9月10日、ニューヨークのNEPENTHES NEW YORKにて、JunAleによるポップアップイベント「SASU / 刺」を開催します。

「SASU / 刺」は、JunAleの表現の核である「刺す」という行為に焦点を当てたイベントです。
異なる時代や背景を持つ素材を、刺し子によってつなぎ、補強し、新たな形へと再構築する。

会場では、JunAleがこれまで取り組んできた SASHIKOSNEAKER™ をはじめ、BORO / SASHIKO / TECH の思想から生まれた作品を展示・販売します。
当日は杉前潤も在廊し、実際に刺し子を施しながら、JunAleのものづくりを紹介します。

“SASU / 刺” — JunAle Pop-Up at NEPENTHES NEW YORK

On September 10, 2026, JunAle will present “SASU / 刺,” a special pop-up event at NEPENTHES NEW YORK.

“SASU / 刺” focuses on the act of stitching, which lies at the core of JunAle’s practice.
Through Sashiko, materials from different times and backgrounds are connected, reinforced, and reconstructed into new forms.
The event will feature SASHIKOSNEAKER™ and other one-of-a-kind works developed through JunAle’s three creative axes: BORO / SASHIKO / TECH.
Jun Sugimae will also be present throughout the event, demonstrating his Sashiko practice and sharing the process behind the work.
